The ASICS METASPEED™ SKY TOKYO is a high-performance road racing shoe built for runners who naturally increase speed by extending their stride. At the heart of the design is the newly developed FF LEAP™ foam, a super lightweight and bouncy midsole material strategically placed in the lower layer to provide enhanced cushioning and higher energy return. The upper midsole layer features FF TURBO™ PLUS cushioning, delivering even greater responsiveness while improving stability during the landing phase.
A higher-positioned carbon plate combined with a thicker forefoot midsole allows runners to experience increased energy return and longer stride length compared to the METASPEED™ EDGE TOKYO. This construction helps runners push through fatigue, especially beyond the 30 km mark, maintaining pace during the most demanding stages of a race.
The MOTION WRAP™ 3.0 upper securely locks the foot to the platform using a lightweight engineered woven structure, while the ASICSGRIP™ outsole ensures reliable traction on road surfaces.
